Session A:Sketching workshop: Heads. Using graphite pencil, we will learn about the human head and face. What defines a man, a woman, a child and what the facial differences between races are. We will each sit for gesture sketches to learn what elements are essential for a good foundation drawing. Session B: Drawing workshop: Colored Pencil Techniques Colored pencils are a clean and easy to use medium. Amazing effects can be achieved by learning to use colored pencils properly. Covered in this workshop will be: How to shade and mix colors. The under drawing. Special effects. Session C: Drawing the Old Masters. Using old masters drawings for inspiration, we will copy a drawing. In graphite pencil we will examine their techniques and learn how they created their masterpieces.
